It is always recommended to plug your charger into the Versiv/TFS mainframe before doing a software update.Loss of power due to a discharged battery during a software update can put your Versiv/TFS mainframe or remote into an unusable state.If this should happen, try the following:
Mainframe Versiv/TFS
- Power off the unit.
- Hold down the?HOME and?TEST keys.
- Keeping them held down, turn on the tester.
- You will see “RESCUE MODE” appear.
- Using LinkWare, reflash/update the tester again via the USB port using the latest version of?LinkWare PC Software.
Remote Versiv/TFS
- Power off the unit.
- Hold down the?TALK and?TEST keys.
- Keeping them held down, turn on the tester.
- All the lights will stay on.
- Using LinkWare, reflash/update the tester again via the USB port using the latest version of?LinkWare PC Software.
